Storm Seafood Inc. has deep roots in the Norwegian Seafood Industry. The company was established in 1997. The co-founder, Peter Gati, is the past U.S. Representative of The Norwegian Seafood Council, and has been involved in import of Norwegian Seafood to the U.S. for more than 30 years.

The company functions as a liaison between production and procurement overseas, and sales and marketing through the U.S. partner, Ocean Garden Products.

Norsk Sjømat, Stranda A/S  is among Norway's largest processors of farm raised salmon. With a throughput of about 25,000 tons per year the product range encompass every product derived from salmon. In addition to the main processing plant at Stranda, Norsk Sjømat also has ownership in one of Norway's largest whitefish operations with access to whitefish and pelagic species.
